Semesterbostad i Altenfeld

The beautiful town of Altenfeld is situated in an upland valley of the Thuringian Forest close to the Rennsteig, a famous ridgeway hiking trail. This solidly constructed holiday house is set among forests and hills, with a lovely garden and a small terrace with garden furniture and a grill. The sturdily crafted house is situated in the garden area of our property. The house is equipped with everything you need and also has a cosy tile stove. A spiral staircase connects the upstairs and downstairs. The region offers a wide range of recreation options for all ages. The village itself has a swimming pool in a beautiful forest setting, complete with a sunbathing meadow and a snack bar. There is also a bowling alley, a private jukebox museum, a glass museum and well-marked hiking trails with beautiful views. In the winter months, there is a ski lift with ski rental as well as groomed cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails.
