This tastefully renovated holiday home is on the first floor of an authentic house in the centre of the village of Rieussec. The living room is cosily furnished and has lots of natural light from outside. The wooden beams and stone walls emphasise the property's authenticity, although it is still equipped with all modern conveniences. The sleekly finished, eat-in kitchen invites you to prepare a tasty French dinner together while meanwhile enjoying an aperitif at the dining table. There are two atmospheric bedrooms, of which one has an en-suite bathroom, and there is a separate bathroom with a bath. You can relax in peace on the terrace in the flowered garden and soak up the sun or just enjoy the shade. You can take some wonderful walks from your holiday home and enjoy nature and the hilly landscape with its beautiful views. There are several vineyards to visit nearby where you can go wine tasting, for example, in the Minervois. Beautiful coastal cities with bays and long sandy beaches, that are easily accessible, include Carcassonne, Montpellier, Narbonne and Béziers. Also, you shouldn't miss the "Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc" with its beautiful lakes; and a boat trip on the famous Canal du Midi is also worth a day out. In short: a real holiday!

Le Canal du Midi, l'Oppidéum d'Enserune and Carcasonne are nice excursions.
