There are many cycling and hiking possibilities in the beautiful hamlets of Aalten and Winterswijk. Within 1 km distance, there is a "green" border change of which men can by cycle or foot explore the German border region and e.g. the city Bocholt. Kernwasser Wonderland (Kalkar) can be located within approx. an hours drive by car. In Winterswijk, archaeology lovers can celebrate in the "Quarry's".
