A separate penthouse apartment with a large terrace with stunning panoramic view of Lake Maggiore. Panoramica is located in the pretty little mountain town Oggebbio. The terrace is decorated with wooden garden furniture, 2 sun beds and a large Weber Grill. The terrace is also furnished with a pergola. The apartment includes two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom, a combined kitchen, dining and living room with sofa bed. The apartment is fully furnished incl. satellite TV, dishwasher and washing machine and designed for 6 people. The apartment is part of a newly built (2005) Residenze complex, called Il Vigneto (vineyard). There are a total of 23 houses built in 5 separate buildings. There are communal pool and children's pool and sun terrace with fantastic view of the lake. Il Vigneto is located in the small town of Oggebbio, ca. 1.5 km drive up the mountain. It is a very quiet and peaceful area. -- The Residence is a panoramic residence upon the green hills overlooking Lake Maggiore. It’s a family friendly place for everybody who loves relaxing in the surroundings of nature with an exceptional view on the lake. A nice swimming pool and solarium are available to the guests and children. The panoramic apartment has two very spacious terrace with stunning lake view, outdoor table, deck chairs. This hillside residence is constructed on a number of levels with a glass elevator offering great views over the lake while you are carried to and from your floor. However, the elevator has been known to occasionally malfunction so be prepared to walk up a few stairs in the event of this happening! For this reason, we recommend that the residence is not suited for people with walking difficulties. The residence is situated nearby the small village of Oggebbio and the charming town Cannero Riviera with many shops, bars and restaurants. From here you can hop on a boat and explore the beautiful lake, its beaches, islands and surroundings in Italy and Switzerland. Many watersport acitivities are offered nearby as well as great opportunities for mountain biking or trekking in the nearby mountain valleys Note: The residence is situated on a hill accessible by a narrow and winding road. Please note that it’s not so easy reachable driving up there the first few times, the resultant magnificent view over Lake Maggiore more than makes up for the high climb. It’s located almost 2 km from the lake and from the nearest facilities (supermarket, restaurants,…) so a car is necessary.
