This group house is located on the grounds of a seminar centre in the beautiful town of Lehesten, in the Thuringian forest. The corner house has its own entrance. This part of the house is for your exclusive use. The house features two seminar rooms and an "arts room". Here you can work undisturbed in a large group or in small groups, hold a meeting or celebrate. A large playground and barbecue complete the deal. The house is nestled in Schieferpark, a former slate mining area. Fun with children: the large area features a playground, small forests, mine carts and the "technical slate mining monument" (with guides), the constantly open nature park exhibition and a riding stable (if interested, reserve riding dates early). Sports: hiking, jogging, Nordic walking or biking in the surrounding nature reserve as well as the Thuringian Forest reserve. Definitely worth seeing: round walk around Schiefersee (about 3 km), with unique views. In winter, there's a direct connection to 25 km of cross-country ski trails (depending on the snow conditions). The Thuringian Slate Mountains/Upper Saale nature park offers ideal conditions for hiking and nature lovers year-round. Discover a variety of rare animals and plants on undisturbed hikes. The famous Rennsteig is located only 4 kilometres away. Excursions into the surrounding region: Erfurt, Weimar, the Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, Saalburg fairy tale forest, Lauscha glass centre.
